| Welcome to John Raymond Designs | |
My name is John Bourke.
A qualified electrician, I have worked in the building industry for thirty five years. In 1994 I bought and renovated my first house in the UK. Since then I have bought and sold numerous properties following renovation. After the first few friends began to ask me to carry out works at their own properties. That was when I decided to start up my own business and concentrate on the general Construction Works/services full time.
Since then, as John Raymond Design, I have carried out numerous contracts throughout the North/Central London Boroughs, all to a high standard, to budgets and with satisfied clients. As well as extension and internal alteration works I have carried out New-Build contracts and am a registered member of the NHBC.
I work together with a close team of tradesmen covering services across the construction industry with whom I have a long-standing and excellent working relationship. My preference is always to work closely with my clients from the earliest design stage in order to be able to offer the benefit of my experience and construction knowledge to the client's advantage. Whilst 'traditional' construction is often the right solution to a client's requirements, I welcome the challenge of innovative ideas and designs as well as discussing the use of contemporary construction technologies and materials/products, especially in the light of the ever-increasing need for energy-efficient, eco-friendly building practices.
As well as construction services, we also offer the facility of a full range of design services using Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) to assist and enhance the design process.
